What is it?
A scripting language used for back-end code (it stands for PHP Hypertext Processor... yep, it's a recursive acronym).
Why did we choose it?
It's ancient, reliable, and works well, plus I'm already familiar with it. That, and it's part of the common LAMP stack used for webservers in any case.
What do we use it for?
The majority of Deserted Chateau's backend code.
