Creating and configuring a video library

To use Bunny Stream, you need to create a video library, and you'll want to configure various parts of it to work nicely.

In the Bunny dashboard, go to Stream and create a new library. The API menu for the library you created has the API key you need to programmatically add or remove videos from the library, as well as the library's ID, both of which you will need later.

Configuring the pull zone

Bunny allows you to modify the underlying pull zone for the library, which is useful for customising the domain name. The process for that is exactly the same as for configuring Bunny pull zones for CDN use, see here for details.

Configuring the video library

Under the Encoding tab, decide which options you want (keeping the original video files, and creating mp4s as fallbacks, will increase your overall storage costs).

In the Storage section, you can enable replication if you want; be aware that enabling replication will double the storage cost from $0.01 per GB per month to $0.02 for the first region. Additional regions after that cost an extra $0.005 per GB per month.
