Route 53

When requesting an ACM certificate, AWS will ask you to add some CNAME records in Route 53 (or your DNS provider if not using Route 53) to prove you own the domain.

RouteIf 53,you forare whateverrequesting reason,a certificate that covers multiple domains (e.g. "yourwebsite.com" and "*.yourwebsite.com", or any other certificate with more than one entry), ACM may not actually letshow you add the records: it will view the "_eldritchhorror" names for theduplicate CNAME records asto invalid.enter Forinto evenyour weirderDNS reasons,provider. ifThis normally causes an error when you try to add them, unless you look closely at the records asyou're TXTbeing records and then edit themasked to beadd.

CNAME

 records, it has no complaints. So do that.
